Linden Paper Co. was founded by Jori Pop, a passionate illustrator and designer based in Port Moody, British Columbia. With a background in fine arts, specializing in pattern design, book covers, children’s books, and editorial work, Jori’s unique artistic vision quickly garnered attention when she began selling her art prints and greeting cards at local craft fairs and markets around Vancouver. The joy she found in sharing her illustrations inspired her to establish Linden Paper Co. in 2019, a brand focused on thoughtfully designed paper products.

The name Linden Paper Co. is inspired by Jori’s maiden name, van der Linde. In Dutch, it refers to a family living near the beloved Linden tree, a symbol of beauty and connection found in many parts of Europe.
