Pika & Bear - "She" Feminine Symbol Stud Earrings
This variant is currently sold out.
This symbol is based on pictograms originally used to denote the gender (male, female, or hybrid) of plant varieties by Carl Linnaeus in 1751. The symbol was then popularized by the counter culture in the 1960s. The gender symbols have a more tenuous meaning in modern times since gender terms are becoming more fluid and even less relevant. When in Rome, do as the Spice Girls do, and say "GIRL POWER!"
